We provide an efficient and professional waste collection service for anyone who wants more collections than the council will offer. As well as recyclable materials our service includes ordinary, non recyclable waste and food waste.  

Waste Concern was set up in direct response to the council policy of reducing from a weekly to a once every other week refuse collection. The sound of outrage has been heard across the country as now half the councils in England, Wales and Scotland have dropped to fortnightly collections.  

Fines if your rubbish is put out on the wrong day or charges of up to Ј200 for excess rubbish on the right day are two more weapons that councils are holding.   

As a privately run company at Waste Concern we are able to offer a level of flexibility and service that is not available from councils. We’re reliable, our operatives are courteous and we strive to provide a great value service.   

Not only can we collect your household and garden waste on alternate weeks to your council we can collect whenever you ask us to. You can decide to have as few or as many collections from Waste Concern as you wish.   

As long as you are a registered Waste Concern customer with a branded Waste Concern wheelie bin you can even have ‘on demand’ collections.

The Waste Concern wheelie bins are available for rent or out-right purchase and they come in two sizes, 240 litre for normal use and the larger 1100 litre capacity. 

The wheelie bins will take ANY household, garden and recyclable waste although not hazardous waste.  All recyclable materials are reclaimed from the waste through an automated sorting system at the recycling plant, which means that customers do not have to sort their own waste beforehand.
